Day 11: Put your ipod on shuffle and write 10 songs that pop up.
Sorry, but this one will be short and sweet. I don't own an ipod. I also don't put music on my phone. I'm kind of old-fashioned that way, I guess. I listen to the radio and CDs.
That said, what you'd find is a very eclectic mix. I listen to country, contemporary Christian, pop, oldies, Big Band, rock....and pretty much anything else that catches my fancy.
A few that would definitely be there:
- Pretty much everything by Casting Crowns.
- Toby Keith
- Kid Rock's songs...the ones where he actually sings, not raps.
- The Eagles
- 80s new wave stuff
- Billy Joel
I always chuckle at questions about ipods or shuffling songs because I don't have any of that going on in my life either! I'll take Toby Keith, The Eagles and Billy Joel from your list. I'm not into contemporary Christian music. I DO love the old hymns and old-time gospel though. Kid Rock and 80s music...not so much. But I'm old and set in my ways! Ha! I have enjoyed reading your answers in this meme!
ReplyDeleteI'm like you in that respect...I don't put music on my phone. And I love love love Casting Crowns!!
ReplyDeleteI do have an MP3 player (not Ipod), but I only use it when I go out for my morning walk. Otherwise, it's pretty much Pandora for me. I stopped listening to CD's a couple years ago because my CD player broke, and I just didn't feel like a new one was worth it.
But if I have my MP3 on shuffle when out walking, you find an eclectic mix...mostly Frank Sinatra, but also a lot of Big Band, Nat King Cole, Jason Aldean, Casting Crowns, and Phillips, Craig, and Dean.
On Pandora, my stations are Frank Sinatra, Kenny G, Casting Crowns, Baroque, Classical for the Soul, Richard Clayderman, and Secret Garden. (I've rather transitioned out of country in the last year.)
Happy Saturday to you!
